What to Expect
Consultation
What to expect during this visit:
• Photos of similar projects to help you determine your preferences and style.
• We will ask a lot of questions about your expectations.
• We will talk with you about your project budget.
• You will make several decisions about your project.
Design & Proposal
After your visit with your project designer, we will design plans and complete a real cost proposal for your project. A typical period to complete a proposal with plan is 10-14 days on average. Your plans will include an overview, front profile, side profile and foundation of the proposed project. Once you have a reviewed our plans and signed the construction agreement, we will make arrangements for you to view samples and make final selections for your project.
Permits & Scheduling
Often times, projects require HOA approval and/or city permits to begin construction on your outdoor living space. We will handle all the HOA and city requirements to complete your project. This includes construction plans, submitting required forms and handling all inspections throughout the project. Depending on location, this process can take between 4-6 weeks to complete.
Scheduling & Management
After your project is approved, we will schedule your project. Multiple factors can affect start dates- number of current projects, weather conditions and availability of material. Your project will be managed by a dedicated project manager. They will manage the different phases and trades involved with those phases. They will make sure the project design is communicated throughout the duration of the project. Your project manager will be available by phone, text, and email throughout the entirety of the project process.
Walk Through
Once your project is complete, you and your project manager will walk the entire project upon completion to ensure you are completely satisfied with the project. The Project manager will also give an overview of any equipment this has been installed and how to use them properly.
